Do you have a home built prior to 1990? Are you planning a renovation project? Now is the time to have any suspect materials tested for the presence of asbestos.
Our team is capable of collecting bulk samples and having them analyzed for asbestos content. All bulk samples are analyzed by a nationally accredited laboratory to ensure quality results every time.
Bulk samples are generally analyzed as per EPA Method 600/R-93/116. However, should more stringent testing be required, EPA point counts can also be completed.
All bulk sample analytical results are documented in a laboratory analysis report which is accompanied by an easy to understand summary of results to avoid confusion.
Are you concerned about potential airborne fibres present in your home or workplace as a result of an uncontrolled disturbance? We are also capable of providing air sample collection for airborne fibre concentrations.
Air samples are analyzed as per the NIOSH 7400 Standard Method for identification of asbestos and other fibres by PCM (phase contrast microscopy). This analytical method is a total fibre count, and as such, asbestos fibres are not differentiated. If more stringent air sampling is required (asbestos fibre count), we also offer TEM air sampling services.
Our air sampling services can be completed prior to, during or following an asbestos event (controlled or uncontrolled). Ambient air sampling, for peace of mind, is also an option.
